ClearNook: Storage Cleaner is a utility tool designed to help you manage files, boost memory, arrange notifications, and uninstall unused applications. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal identifiable information (PII) to our servers. All local data processing happens directly on your device, ensuring maximum privacy.

2. Permissions We Request

To provide our core functionalities, the App requires certain device permissions based on our features. We strictly use these permissions for local app operations and never for unauthorized data tracking or collection:

Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required for the "Media Cleaner" to scan and clean up similar photos, unneeded screenshots, large video files, and other storage-consuming items to free up your phone's capacity.
Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): Required for the "Notification Manager" feature to intercept, stop disturbances, and organize annoying notifications seamlessly. We do not read or store your personal notification contents for any other purpose.
Usage Data Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Required for the "Memory Booster" feature to identify inactive or resource-heavy background applications that are consuming your RAM and device resources so that we can optimize them.
App Packages Deletion & Queries (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES / QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): Required for the "App Manager" feature to allow you to easily identify and uninstall unused or large applications from your device.
Internet Access: Required to fetch and display third-party advertisements and check for app updates.

3. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

We use Google AdMob as a third-party advertising network to monetize our App and keep it free for users. AdMob may automatically collect and use non-personal data (such as your device's Advertising ID, general location based on IP address, and app interaction data) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us with the necessary permissions. All file scanning, notification organizing, and memory boosting features are processed locally on your device in real-time. We do not upload your personal files, installed application lists, or notifications to any external servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
